They’ll check the servos first and replace/overhaul them if needed.
That doesn’t take a week either. I have replaced and bench tested countless KS27x servos… On a TBM, per factory MM, there is an annual servo inspection which takes about 2 days (and costs 4-5 digits 
) and that’s still only 2 days. I’ve seen it done many times.
There is some funny business about the inputs on this box… what it is certified to connect to.
So far, AFAIK, no known installations, even in the US.
Also bear in mind that in Europe there are almost no avionics shops that can work on autopilots (officially). So once you get away from a pure slide-in replacement, it gets difficult.
So little is known, but this could be another KSN770.
I don’t like the term slide in upgrade.
When looking to the backside of the 230 on the brochure I see that it has Sub-D connectors.
This means that the connectors have to be replaced, that will take some time.

Curiously they forgot the TB21…
It is a slide in replacement for the KFC 150 only and there is a $10k route for that. For all others they want all new servos and that starts at $24k (I had no idea this option even existed; maybe it is the KFC200 scenario mentioned above). It does not work with the KI300. This is from a US site.
I hope “Aviation Consumer” tests this ap soon. PIREPs would be nice as well…
Read through the manual it seems the G5 isn’t on the list of HSI that it can work with. Also it will work with an IFD 540 but not 440?
