Please can I give an unashamed plug for Newquay?
Well today was a gloreous day. Is it going to be an Indian Summer – we derserve it.
but as to Newquay. I go occasioanlly and I wanted to remind anyone that has not been it is still a superb destination. It is one of those places with lots to do, beautiful scenery, and not often you can see both sides of the UK from 2,000 feet and three sides from FL50.
and to boot, friendly and efficient handling and really not too expensive for a “large” airport with all the facilites.
I would recommend it for a day trip, and take a trip to Fistral beach, or to Steins, or drop into Perranporth, a little further down the coast.
Good idea, I’ve never been and will give it a try.
I really like it there as well. Some nice beaches, good restaurants and going by plane is much better than driving there. FlyNQY for “handling” which is required – great, cheap and friendly service from the flying school.
Very impressed with handling there too.
