If the Lancair Evolution is too small and slow, then the Stratos 716X may be the thing?



Apparently the kit costs 2.5M US$. Looks cool though, even if the concept is, well – a bit out of the ordinary

As it needs to be homebuilt to be viable, it may work in the US. For the European market, maybe in Norway, forget the rest.

Other than that, won’t hold my breath. One of hundreds which never reach a stage where it can be taken seriously.

The US has lots of jets in the Experimental category, and some were basically “homebuilt”.

Here in Europe, the airspace regulations for non-CofA make this unworkable.
