Now this looks interesting... (Jetson 1)

Yeah… you flip and than crash

Why would you necessarily do that? The aircraft is obviously fly by wire so it should be able to compensate for a failed engine.

It does not make sense in a country like Germany, Switzerland, Austria and others who restrict take off and landings to licensed airports.

Guess this one would (will?) be categorised as a helicopter rather than a fixed wing aircraft…

well this close to trees, the question is also what happens if the pilot makes a slight change of direction?

The same that happens when you do it on a motorcycle. But it’s irrelevant because the main use case will be to fly from the 50m yacht to the parking lot of the beach club in Monaco.

No – for transport from your yacht you have a paid pilot

Elsewhere it might be beyond cool.

A head chopping device flying at head altitude at 50? knots will never ever be allowed to roam freely in Norway, that for sure. Well, except if you call it a boat and fly at low alt in the fjords I think this device would be cool in a sport/competition setting, but thinking transportation, then traffic safety will render it useless.

Sure, you need someone to take the helmet and hand you your suit jacket. Also afterwards you don’t want to FUI and prefer the chopper to be with the girls.

Exactly! Not to mention energy reserves. You’d have to introduce a completely new legislation for these kind of devices.

- unless for take off and landings … It can easily be argued that this device is in a continuous take off/landing mode.
