Any suggestions for interesting destination in that area? Not romantic ones this time ;-) but interesting enough to lower landing gear and stop there. IFR preferred but not required, 3000+ ft paved or good grass runway welcome. Shoreline almost required

An interesting destination is Aero (EKAE). Well prepared (grass) runway with runway lights. You can hire an old VW Kever to tour the island for lunch or longer.
I did the East Friesian islands a few years ago, and loved them. They are nice and small…easy to see in the main sights in a day of island hoping and cycling.
