Pretty hot OAT of 47C; high oil temperature

Yesterday I flew to Cordoba LEBA and upon landing we had an OAT of 47C. During the visual approach we were at 5000’ with an OAT of about 35C. Then shortly before entering a longish base leg at some 1500’ the OAT was above 40C and my oil temperature got as high as 235F when I got a green message on the MFD warning about the high oil temperature. My CHTs were still below 400F. I was doing about 150kts. I had already pulled back the power and pulled it back further.

The experience now has me thinking about taking off at such temperatures. Cordoba is famous for high temperatures.

Currently I use W100 oil and am wondering whether there is an oil for especially high temperatures or is W100 the one to go?

The manual for my plane (Zlin 142) calls for W100 for normal operations and W120 for “tropical” operations.
