The form is immensely confusing, being designed to collect only adverse comments (i.e. why the main modifications are considered by the respondent to unlawful or otherwise unsound) but I nevertheless used the form to post a positive comment as suggested. I hope it gets read.

I have just read that Wellesbourne has been saved.
I don’t have the details. At one point, IIRC, the owner wanted to sell it or develop it for housing and normally when that happens it is game over unless the site is rendered worthless by the local council refusing to allow property development. But usually the owner wins in the end.
