Yes, if you take him he will be happy with you taking a day off, if you leave him in the office that is another story

In my case I am not bragging but I’m becoming quite popular in my office as I’ve already taken up 2 colleagues to fly and there is a queue of people who want to try!
Even the boss of my boss wants to give it a go! I’m quite nervous about this one, haha.
One can do a Watch on a forum topic, so you get an email off each post on it.
You can Watch the whole Trips & Airports section (“topic”) or you can Watch a specific thread e.g. the Ad Hoc one.
I need to keep an eye on the adhoc flyins forum, I would have come to this.
Went flying yesterday and was hunting for a destination, ended up going to Gamston.
One of my favourite destinations, Alderney or Guernsey. 2 hours in a C172 from Lincolnshire on a VFR flight plan. Anyone can do it and should. Great places to visit.
You don’t have to own a buisness, just take a weekday off from work and go flying ;)?
Ps: better have a crystal ball for the weather and don’t brag about it with your boss next day !

Unfortunately, I am booked Monday to Friday for the next 40 years or so
Yes; you have to grab the day and go for it. This is today
On these ad hoc fly-ins it tends to be a small group of regulars, but it’s true in the summer too, probably because peoples’ lives get dominated by other stuff. Most people have their lives booked up for maybe 6 months ahead.
