I have a friend who has a Chinese friend who will be visiting the EU in July. He has a one time Visa entrance into the EU. We want to take a GA flight to Brac. The question is will going to Croatia Brac from the EU, like Italy or Hungary then returning, constitute more than one entry into the EU? Looking up Schengen Agreement I believe if you travel to Croatia the Visa will not be valid if you return to a Schengen country. Am I correct in this assumption?
The visa is not an EU Visa, but a Schengen Visa. Croatia is part of the EU, but not the Schengen Agreement, so a side-trip to Croatia requires a dual or multiple-entry Schengen Visa.
