Halfway around the world

So far I’ve flown very slightly more than 180 degrees around the planet in my C182, from Pittsburgh, PA, USA to Bang Phra, Thailand. I’ve covered 16,000 miles in 118 flying hours, visiting 44 airports across 24 countries so far. The longest flight was 11 hours, 1,350nm, from Al Ain to Nagpur because the clearance agents screwed up the planning for India and we couldn’t go to Ahmedabad. The only mechanical issue has been leaking pushrod seals on my newest cylinder, hopefully rotating the pushrod tubes will have sorted that out.

All the info on my website at http://katamarino.co.uk – I’m a little behind on the writing up, the site updates are still in Egypt, but should be caught up soon.

Wow, cool trip !! Keep the updates coming…

Impressive, find an airport when you get to 182 degrees longitude and have a party in that aircraft !!

Paris/Essex, France/UK, United Kingdom

Might be hard given that longitude goes from -180 to +180
