Airpark Holiday / Enroute stop-over

Hi Rob

Janet and Peter's contact details are on the pdf link in post #01.

Airfield is Biscarrosse-Parentis Airfield (LFBS)

Is this LFBS? Do you have contact details for this couple.

They have just started doing pilots overnight/a couple of days B&B accommodation at their home based within the gated Airpark, accessed by private taxiways. There are no landing fees at Biscarrosse-Parentis, AVGAS is available and ATC Mon-Fri (and they will speak English :))

What a wonderful idea! I can only imagine they'll be fully booked.

A tip I will try to remember - thanks for sharing!

When I was doing my MSc dissertation, on European Airparks, one of the Airpark homes I stayed at was in L'Aeronautique de Biscarrosse, with a really lovely couple. Peter flies a C337 and Janet is a superb cook.

Single and/or Double accommodation is available, swimming pool, aircraft parking for up to 4 aircraft on their apron outside the front door. Bicycles can possibly be arranged and it's a flat cycle track into Biscarrosse town.

There are also 2 Piper Cub Amphibians available for lessons on the Lake.
