I have finally documented some of my aerial conservation work under one website.
Recently, I have been using my Jetprop to airlift endangered Gibbons from one part of Thailand to another.
We removed the rear seats and manufactured a support to take two cages for two adults and a baby.

My VIG’s were very well behaved, no mess and no complaints so far!
We plan to move around 30 apes this way over the next 18 months.
A first for me was also having to operate out of a 600M grass strip for the very first time. Buttock clenching the first landing, but very rewarding and doable ever since.

Thank you for posting the link – had not realised there were so many whales near Thailand.
I see that your project is dedicated in part to the memory of Tony Smallwood.
I dealt with Tony when he was setting up the gliding operation in Thailand, and he bought my Super Cub G-GCUB and shipped it to Thailand.

Tony was my mentor out here….
The Super Cub is being recovered as we speak, and was until Tony’s death (no connection with the aircraft) being used as our towing aircraft.
It is a small aviation world indeed.

I heard it had been damaged in a landing incident, so I’m glad it’s on it’s way back into the air.
I shouldn’t have sold the aircraft, I have regretted doing so for some time.
