Aero Friedrichshafen 2015 15-18 April

here

It’s a good place to meet up.

I will fly in if the wx is doable.

Maybe we could organise a EuroGA meet-up there?

I’ll go too and think it would be a good venue to meet up.

We had an informal meeting this year, so why not next year as well?

I’ll try to be there.

LSZH(work) LSZF (GA base), Switzerland

If Im home (always on St.By at work), I would like to meet too.

Im just across the lake at LOIH.
Nice restaurant and cheap AVGAS.(Not sure what they charge in EDNY)
We could maybe do a Fly-In for Brunch and topping of the tanks. (Sunday?)

I’ll be there at the PocketFMS stand again. So if there is a meet up, I’ll find my way there too.

Let’s meet there :-)
I’d be glad to put a face on your names.

@Peter: how about setting up an EuroGA lunch or dinner ?

I thought it was a joke on the Chinese having bought most of the manufacturers

how about setting up an EuroGA lunch or dinner ?

A great idea!

How best to do it depends on how many turn up.

Over the past X years, a dozen of pilots met up here and IIRC usually on the Friday or Saturday night (Sunday it is all finished and you fly home in the morning). However, with a dozen people, while it is great to see everybody, it’s hard to have a useful conversation except with the one right next to you – same as any other restaurant really Also it is mandatory to book a table, to be sure. It’s quite a good restaurant (by German health food standards ) and very popular.

So, my suggestion would be to meet up loosely, in the exhibition. I recall there was at least one restaurant in one of the halls serving something that looks like food, and it wasn’t too packed.

Also there is “food” (greasy chips, hot dogs and burgers etc, but hey you have to eat something, and once won’t hurt you) sold in the open area in the middle of the complex – OK if it isn’t raining.
