I couldn’t find it I have to say. You may need to call them.

EDXE – Rheine-Eschendorf has a hotel direct at the airfield for 49€/night (iirc). It was just recently nominated as airfield restaurant of the year by Fliegermazin readers.

LSZG (Grenchen) has a very nice hotel just by the ‘terminal’. You can even overlook the apron and your parked plane from the rooms. Highly appreciated! And it also has a nice restaurant on first floor with an outside terrace for al fresco dining in the summer. I highly recommend it for an overnight stay! It was a couple of years ago now I stayed there (diversion due to TSs all over) so my Pirep is slighly dated.

I did, and while the pizzeria is open, the hotel is not (at Reims)

I ended up booking at a chambre d’hotes (run by a Belgian couple, very welcoming on the phone), 10 minutes walk from Epernay LFSW, in the heart of the champagne. Unfortunately someone broke the plane a few hours before my trip so I never found out. Still, worth knowing for Champagne lovers.

EDDE – Airport Hotel Erfurt (1min walk to the left when you exit the GA terminal)
EDAY – Gasthof Strausberg Nord (10 min down the road, right by the S-Bahn terminal)
EDMV – Vilshofen (the city center is right across the bridge over the Donau, a 15 min walk)

Night options,

I recommend the Holiday inn at Southend EGMC. 2 minutes from the crew access to the apron, very good restaurant with a great view of the airport for reasonable prices (especially for families).
The only downside of the restaurant is you just face the primary radar, so don’t stay too long

Here is where I remember walking from the aircraft to my bed:

Le Castellet
Courchevel
St Barth
Calvi
Reykjavik
Ocean reef FL
Bahamas

I can’t think of more but I will!
