Few quick notes on a trip yesterday 19th July, wanted to go the day before but a LFPN Notam would only accept home based traffic. Stayed overnight at LFAT and planned early start, we arranged a gate code from LFAT and left at 07:55 Local by self-announcing in French.
Routed NEMED SUBOX HOL RBT and reporting point SIERA, with the plan to cut inside RBT because of printed advice not to overfly – because very busy.
We flew the whole route at 2300ft dropping down to 1400ft to be under Paris TMA. Spoke to Lille and Beauvais, Paris wouldn’t reply on two different frequencies, so continued in silence.
LFPN gave us a direct to 07R so we went direct from SUBOX to LFPN, but be prepared for entry via Sierra.
When departing, if on 07 look out for the Nuclear area where the 845ft mast is marked. A good reference point is the Lake just to the north.
