Same for me.

Great day out as always

They seem to have to move a lot of sand after some huge storms

A great privilege to be able to do such a trip so easily. It is also very “safe” from the POV of a tiny mistake or distraction getting one busted by the CAA.

French ATC was on strike so only tower was operating so no IAPs available, and even flight plans were not visible to them, so they could not open or close them. On departure I was asked to call up London Info to open the FP.

It’s not due to a Storm just a huge motor bike race…

Anyone doing anything this weekend (22/23 Feb)?

I was going to do a ski trip, but (a) there is almost no accommodation at both Sion area and Cervinia (under 1k/night ) and (b) the temps are really warm with +7C forecast at 2500m. And with the school holidays the conditions are pretty unattractive.

A few of us are looking at LFAT for Wed 5th March – as a quick getaway in between the stormy wx.
