the NOTAM appears in BOTH skydemon and FF

I was expecting IFR notams on FF, VFR notams on SD but admin notams should be on both
Thanks, I may try Rouen on way back from Paris one day to change from L2K

PS: for easter weekend, I am planning Bruges/Antwerp Friday, Hague/Rotterdam Saturday, Maastricht Sunday, Lille Monday if anyone from EuroGA is flying around?

Paris/Essex, France/UK, United Kingdom

We have 4 planes so far for Rouen LFOP.

Somebody needs to test that email address and see if they reply

They do!

I wouldn’t have given you a duff email address, that would juste be mean . I go there a couple times a year, and haven’t had any sort of issue with the email.
Sadly, unlike some other airports which can be VERY flexible (if you call and ask nicely, they might say “it’s OK, it’s just you, thanks for letting us know, but we won’t bother coming”), last time they didn’t buldge on the 24h thing.

Funny thing is that if you go to the NOAA notam site and enter LFOP, you do get that top secret email address (which is not in the AIP), but it appears under the wrong heading:

Also, “customs” is not needed for the EU, surely Yeah, I know, getting my coat But in France, Immigration = “police”.

“But in France, Immigration = “police” "

Not sure where you get that from? in most aeroports in France immigration = “douanes” in few maritime places immigration = “gendarmes” (paramilitary police), but I rarely heard “police” (civilian police) doing “customs/immigration” job, it will be a first one…

Paris/Essex, France/UK, United Kingdom

In French AIP, Immigration is normally called “police”. Customs is “douanes”.

Example:

etc…

And I assumed they would use the same terminology in their notams as they do in their AIP. Anyway, the regular flyers to France know the facilities in France: it is customs and immigration, and evidently in the notams they just call it “customs”. Are there any French airports which separate these functions? There used to be some near Paris, years ago. A rather inconclusive thread on this topic is here.

Taking the above “PPR 24HR THE LAST WORKING DAY BEFORE 1400” what does this mean, if I want to land there say 0930 UTC on Saturday?

Does it mean they must confirm the permission before 0930 UTC on Friday, or before 1400 UTC on Friday, or before 1400 UTC on Thursday?

Is Easter Friday a “working day”?

Administrator

Easter Friday is a working day in France. For the other question, I would rely on the information you got in the email, ie send the information the day before at 14:00 local time latest.
Have a nice flight!

ENVA, Norway

OK, but sending it at 1400 UTC on Friday means they are not getting 24hrs notice. They are getting 19.5hrs notice
