FYI, there is a fly in in LFRC this Saturday July 27. No fees below 2 tons and free shuttle to Cherbourg city.

I don’t know much more than that : all fees waived below 2 tons, a free van that goes back and forth all day to the city.

Very basic but nice to visit Cherbourg city. I hope to visit the museum with the submarine.

I’m flying a DA40 North Weald EGSX → Quimper LFRQ in the afternoon, but don’t have much available time on the ground (visiting family and have to depart to south of france on the saturday). There are some nice towns around, and they have immigration (I initially asked for a late arrival around 22:00L and they said no problem, they just asked for my details and said they wouldn’t come)
