Do you find the AoA device useful, Chris?
I’ve always been very disciplined about flying the correct speeds, so I have to say it hasn’t made a huge difference to my approaches. But it’s a useful backup, and I’m quite happy to fly the AoA on finals instead of KIAS.
Having said that, many PPLs that I fly with fly much too fast on finals and an AoA would show them what can, and should be, achieved.

I spend a lot of my video editing time cutting out peoples’ private conversations out of the sound track which remains after editing out the unwanted bits of the footage

With some VFR in the Alps towards the end. And I managed to capture the audio properly this time!
