Vern Raburn did that already, didn’t he?

Neither Tesla nor Space-X are real businesses yet, both live off investor money instead of customer money. So let’s see. Often the first mover gets burned but paves the way for successful companies. Aviation is a very conservative business due to the certification regime and customers’ dependence on the manufacturer.

And this forum is even more conservative than average

He is an engineer with a great instinct for how things work, which is brilliant, and is willing to take risks with others’ money, which is fine so long as you are not an investor

I know a guy who is a bit like this and who has been living off investors’ money for over 20 years, so it can be done (I lost 15k).
