The problem with Youtube is that any given video can be presented as a variety of URLs, depending on where the URL comes from and how it was intended to be viewed in the particular website where you found it.
David has done a lot of work on this today and now EuroGA should support every imaginable Youtube URL as a straight drop-in into your post.
Even if a movie is inserted incorrectly using the or
buttons, it should still show up…
This should solve a long standing hassle with movies not showing up. So please if you cannot get a Youtube video to show up, do let us know.
The only Youtube form which is not supported is the “embed” version, support for which would expose the site to hacking – which just about all other forum sites regularly suffer from.
