Home page showing "nonexistent" posts from new users

It is possible for a new signup to make 1 post. This post is supposed to be invisible, and indeed it is, except to Mods. This is a recently done feature which works well for detecting malicious joinups who are not otherwise completely obvious (most are).

Unfortunately the post appears on the banners on the home page… but when you go to it, you cannot see it. I am trying to get this fixed… Ruby is not trivial! The last Ruby expert I found died of a brain tumour.

Let me know if you want any help. Or you can take advantage of Antigravity / Cursor :)

+1 for cursor. Just point cursor at the code and tell it what you want to change., You will (probably) be amazed.

If I could even find the code, Claude would do it smiley

Sorry, I meant Claude. Cursor is pretty useless in my experience.

I just spent two days in a meeting with a team that has writtena very sophisticated app, including a very impressive GUI, entirely with Claude. We had a bit of a philosophical discussion this morning about the use of AI. Bottom line is that even now if you know how to drive AI (not difficult), you will probably never write another significabt sized piece of code again.
