Fortunately this is one area no phone can touch

Pentax K1, 300mm, 1/1400, ISO 400, F10. Handheld, autofocus.
Why “Fortunately”?
And I would add “… yet” 😉

You wish…
That is hilarious… nothing to do with “AI” – those Samsungs were just using a stored image of the moon and using that to fake your blurred photo
Could this photo have been taken with any phone (no long lens accessory etc used)

I wonder if this is an example of the post(s) above, where fake images were used.
No way is that a smartphone pic. I’ve looked at the moon through a huge telescope recently and remember how impressive those details about craters have been. You clearly see three dimensional structures on the surface, that can no smartphone do.
I am told by the person who took the pic that it is an “iPhone 15 Pro”.
So Apple are up to the same stored image substitution tricks as the others
I mean OBVIOUSLY it is not a smartphone pic! My Pentax K1 with a 300mm lens would just about do that. But I wanted to make sure.
