I tried typing a reply to a thread just now and created about 4 paras and tried previewing it. A black 'DSC' banner came up at the bottom and covered the submit and preview buttons. I couldn't scroll it away or post my reply.
I clicked the DSC logo and it went to another page, blowing away my entire posting!
Ie8, XP SP3, 1024 x 768.
Reproduced it with IE8! On a 1680x1050 display too.
OK. I've got a screenshot etc.
If this happens again (before it is fixed) do control-a and control-c and then save your typing somewhere...
I saw an online shop the other day that adds an extra tax to the shopping basket of anyone using IE8. We'll find a workaround. If at all possible you'll find a nicer experience with another browser (I'd recommend Google Chrome), but I do realise that some people aren't allowed to install software on their computers.
