Hello,
Thanks a lot to all who provided feedback. I’ve fixed some bugs and added the possibility of choosing “nearest” when selecting the airport. Release available on the App Store.
Maybe just a note with the “allow location” in the iPhone app. All it needs is a clue.
Most iWatch users are much less sophisticated than maybe Apple thinks, and the apps are horribly inconsistent.
Thanks Timothy, that answers my question, because if you cannot find how to change the airports then a good proportion of the population can’t either.
Would it be enough if there was some text at the bottom saying “force touch for menu”? Or does it need a button at the bottom saying “change airports”?
After some messing around, rebooting, reinstalling etc I got it working (Steve Job’s fault, not denopa’s, I am sure).
Now, I can see Farnborough, Hyeres, Birmingham and Orly, but nothing else.
I can’t get it to start on my watch :-(
It’s any feature of the watch on top of time keeping, basically (on mechanical watches or on the Apple watch).
I suspect it is an attempt to be ultra fashionable, because “complications” is also the very old generic name on 5 digit plus priced mechanical Swiss watches for things like the tourbillon. Complications.
(Non iWatch people should probably be told that Complications is Apple’s terrible word for configuration, not bad UI design!)
Hello,
If it’s not too much trouble, I’d like some feedback on a specific point: did you find it easy to understand how to change the airports, and to change them?
Thanks in advance.
P.s.: I’ve added complications for other watch faces.
Thanks to all who installed it (given this is the only place I’ve “advertised”, I assume everyone heard about it here). As luck would have it, the server I’ve been getting the raw data from went MIA for 24 hours, but seems back online (and it’s not because of the people using the app ;-)). Apologies for that, even if it seems ok now, I will try to find a back up. Please PM me if you find bugs or errors or things that could be useful. I’m a beginner with apps so please don’t expect too much.
