Yes, looking at perhaps a 7-10 year old model to avoid the initial depreciation. It appears that owners list aircraft for approx 10% more than they hope to achieve. So say for example a listing at £100,000 – the owner actually only expects £90,000. However, I sold my boat at a substantial discount as I didn’t fancy sitting on it all winter and paying various maintenance/insurance costs – I just wanted rid of it.
