You can now access the weather observations from the “additional” weather stations of Météo France here:
http://www.meteofrance.com/previsions-meteo-france/carte-observations
If you click on the little circle icon above the map, you get all stations that provide information about cloud bases and cloud cover. This can be useful if there is no METAR where you’re going.
