Is it still a UK CAA requirement for a IR initial skills test?
It would only be required if the approach required it, and I haven’t flown an approach in Europe which required a marker receiver for about a quarter of a century.
I flew one that had markers not long ago. Can’t remember where. Scared the living daylights out of me before I worked out what the damned beeping was.
Brize Norton has still got them, IIRC. Quite possibly also Mildenhall/Lakenheath.
