I bet you anything that whatever is inside that gold-ish coloured box is just another Floscan 201 transducer, just like I have. There is at least one other “aviation” company – Insight which does that, though their box doesn’t look as nice as yours.

The EI unit is their own. They used to supply a Floscan unit but then set up to ‘roll their own’, certainly to undercut the outrageous cost of the Floscan transducer when sold for aviation use, but also (according to them) to improve quality and reduce issues with the installed piping configuration. Google ‘red cube flow transducer’ and you’ll find a lot of user info, they’ve become very popular. The other good news is that the Floscan price has also been forced down a bit through competition.

Hope the food was good (in CH it probably cost as much as a flow transducer)

Peter your TB20 jaunt to Laussane seems just that, a quick jaunt. Enjoyed the photos.

Who came from furthest? Slowest aircraft, fastest, newest, oldest?

We are back in ZRH now, 48 mins there, 54 back. Pics to follow.

Very nice to meet you all there.

I am back in the Paris area after 2:20 in the air, thereof 0:40 night. Headwinds. Tried to transit between LFPB and the city of Paris, but was vextored north of LFPG instead. Can’t win every time.

I enjoyed meeting you and will seriously consider the next two events, especially Friedrichshaven.

A few pics taken by Ina of todays trip

Was great to meet you all!

Taking off at Zurich

Bern Airport and City

Happy crew on the way from ZRH to Lausanne

146 kts TAS with 65% with a Mooney M20C which is 50 years old this year.

Approach to runway 36 at Lausanne

Mooney M20C HB-DWC at Lausanne la Blecherette

Bernese Alps

Zürich

And finally, the flagship of EuroGA at Lausanne

I found Lausanne to be a very nice airport with very moderate taxes and a great restaurant. Good venue for a meeting like that.

It was really brilliant to meet you all. Thank you for making it

Lausanne is a great place for a fly-in… quite central in Europe and very accessible for UK pilots too. A super airport and a super city very near to it. Lausanne is “boutique central” allright

I suspect jwoolard in his TB10 and I had the longest flight and probably very similar in distance?

The rest I am not sure about.
