That was a bit tongue in cheek, and it surely depends on ones definition of bushplane. My definition is any airplane used to haul people and gear to/from remote places. Not necessarily STOL; it could be a J3 Cub, or a C172, a PC6, or even a Lake thingamajig.
In that context, being equipped for IFR degrades performance/useful load but lessens the risk of getting stuck somewhere cold and wet when you want to be somewhere warm and dry.
