Another jet with BRS

OK, it’s a little home-built, but the gent beat Cirrus to it – congrats! From FLYING MAG.

This one has not flown but might benefit from a BRS parachute.

There was a small John Thorpe design jet many years ago. Home build. Not permitted in the UK, but several were built. Used as manned missile simulator in US exercises at one time. Not a good safety record, without ballistic parachute.

Looks impressive – lots of engines! Do you have any more info on it? I could only find that it’s a “Conway Viper” – seems like someone has spent a lot of money and time on this.

Fly more.

At first glance not sure about the longitudinal stability. The aircraft has only carried out fast taxi runs and awaits a bold test pilot.
