Most of the talk about the need for 8.33 radios has centered around allocation of COM frequencies. Is there a similar problem with NAV frequencies? Is the NAV portion of old radios becoming obsolete?
What do you use them for again?
VORs are being decommissioned, they are unlikely to run out of frequencies.
The bandwidth of a VOR is approximately 30 KHz so there is no chance of fitting it into an 8.33 KHz channel.

There has been no talk about increasing the number of VOR channels.
