Pity! We landed at 11 local… But we are parked on the other side of the airport (south apron) with Executive Jet Centre (currently using their WiFi…).
I made it to their door as I wanted to renew my airport pass, but Tracy is not in today.
Coldest I’ve ever been was beginning of this year flying back over the Rockies at 12500ft in my old plane. I was terrified of turning the Janitrol heater on in the tail – don’t trust those things further than I can throw a tantrum. So I suffered through it for 3 hours in full ski gear and with mittens on. Must have looked ridiculous. Wasn’t quite -42C in there, but it was -10C. When I finally descended to refuel in NM I had a hot chocolate made for me at the restaurant and I can tell I’ve never enjoyed a hot beverage anymore in my life!
