I would have thought the way out of there is to go to SW (Collonges) and then turn right via Bellegard.
That’s indeed the standard routing. Actually if you look on GoogleMaps the limit of the CTR is practically on top of the Collonges – Farges – Peron road, and in order to remain clear of the CTR you have to fly north and west of the road, hugging the mountain.
So, the tale of the tape says that clearance was requested – and given – to take a shortcut over the ridge.
Last mandatory reporting was upon crossing the ridge. Looks like CFIT.
