First time flying in USA (and going to the USA to do the FAA IR)

At my US base a large proportion of the students are foreigners, and I’m sure many of the Europeans are interested in EASA licences. However, the Asians seem to be slowly becoming dominant by numbers and they’d have no interest. The overall numbers are high regardless of origin, and that’s good because it supports airport funding from which others like me benefit.
