Nice article on crop dusting. Worked some vacations as a flag man but would hate to think what chemicals they were spraying over forty years ago. Not many turbines then, mostly PA18, converted Stearmans or the Pawnee. Despite the slightly cheesy headline good article, and I certainly don’t recall feeling high, you wanted to move quickly before the spraying started. No GPS then hence cheap ground crew with a flag. Farm labour safer!
