I went in there in VMC over the summer in the Learjet. Private Ops – just needed to go through briefing material. Very good fun indeed, and a box on the bucket list ticked!
It looks frightening with all the hills and you obviously brief it to death but it’s less challenging as a visual circling than many other places. As snoopy says, it’s when weather is bad that it must be squeaky bum time.
