Just few words to confirm about foggia.
I land there diverting. I was from ioannina to l’aquila and a strong nose wind obliged me to take a safe decision.
I was with Amendola ats and I informed them about my decision.
I landed to foggia.
We stay near the pump we even didn’t go to the terminal and I was invoiced 240€
Stupid. It was this august.
I think I will write to the airport to better understand their position before bashing them everywhere. I land in foggia in 2015 it was something as 45€.
About small airfields in Italy the best is to buy Avioportolano book. There is beautiful surprise.

In comparison with France where all airfields are « official » in Italy you must search a bit but I m sure there is some good Italian pilots able to advises on the forum.
So after low cost carriers pushing us out of regional airports, it is BA pushing us out of all long hard runways.
Or more precisely, airport people not leaving any room/outpricing us. Can’t fight against a “business” who doesn’t you.
At 240€ the cost of a fuel stop, GA will loose the little sense it made.

That’s not my experience during this and previous year. I was asked exactly zero times to present any document related to covid at any of 20+ different international airports I flew to during last 500 days.
