UK moving into 20th century with LPV-200

I like the well chosen title

Gosh, at the speed this country is moving, I better start saving up for my LPV update. I reckon a tenner a month should build up the fund, just right.

A great headline, although strictly speaking the Channel Islands isn’t even part of the UK.

Maybe that’s why it came sooner? :-D

That’s funny. Reminds me of the “first LPV-200 in Europe” in Paris a couple years ago.
It’s funny because in the USA LPVs (or at least WAAS approaches) outnumber the ILS since November of 2008.

Not LPV200. The DH is 300 (RNAV RWY 26) and 306 (RNAV RWY 8) feet respectively.

I wonder what the “philosophical” barrier was to LPV200?

In GPS terms nothing has changed for many years.
