Class E airspace

Knowing somebody is there is hugely valuable.

Only if you are seeking to avoid seeing them altogether, which requires huge aispaces. Knowing where they are and what they are going to do next is 100x more valuable.

Maybe with some “Google glass” projection technology, it will all work ? I seriously doubt it though, because you still cannot predict what the situation will be the next 10 seconds, forcing you to avoid the airspace altogether. You will make a maneuver, left or right, up or down and so will everybody else, making complete chaos. You also need to communicate where you are going (unless this is already obvious for one or several reasons). Then it suddenly can be very crowded indeed, without anyone being afraid of hitting another airplane, and there is no need to monitor the position of each and everyone.
