Aren’t all G-reg planes EU VAT paid then until 2 years post brexit?
You would think so for planes physically in the UK (any reg), but actually many planes in Europe have no certificate of “VAT paid” (many were simply flown in from the US) and an examination (however triggered) would discover that 
But those 2 years are gone now…
