Which engine is more efficient at lower altitudes? Lycoming IO540 or TIO540?

Climb performances over FL140 are not really astonishing… Even if it still climbs !
But:
- I rarely need to climb that high
- I wouldn’t rent a plane with a turbo, as mismanagement seems to come first in the list of failure origins (and renting is a part of my financing model). All mechanics met tell me, without asking, that it was wise to go with NA.
- if Peter doesn’t need one, I don’t either :-)

EDIT: as I intend to keep my airplane for the decades to come (that kind of attachment is a psychic pattern you may have encountered here…. :-), upgrading would be more towards TKS than turbo. And that’s clearly not for now.
