ICAO documents online - where?

These are “not supposed” to be online (you are supposed to buy them for lots of $$$) but some are online.

From a post here I have this for Switzerland which has some.

Denmark has a load here but I am pretty sure most are old versions. A few years ago I met an official from their CAA who said ICAO tried to stop them having them online but the Danish CAA refused to obey, saying they are essential for safety.

I wonder what the legality is in grabbing all these and putting them in one place?

The Swiss link above is now dead – looks like they were removed.

It’s moved here.

I have put a collection of these here.

Perhaps been discussed before, or is old news? Anyway, news to me. ICAO has a free online site (must register) to view the publications here.

Thanks, that was interesting. Unfortunately none of the operationally relevant ICAO documents such as PANS-OPS and PANS-ATM are included. The Swiss CAA (FOCA) site remains the easiest way to access them: https://www.bazl.admin.ch/bazl/en/home/themen/legislation/anhaenge-icao.html

I think that is just a few selected ones.

ICAO sell these and don’t publish them all. One finds just a few here and there online which “escaped into the wild”.

On my site I had two links to Swiss ones here and here but now I see they are dead links so I am going to remove them. I have a much more complete collection here but it has not been updated for some years. Edit: just downloaded all the ones from the new Swiss site.

One country, possibly Denmark, was publishing a complete collection, and they said this is to support aviation safety! Amazing attitude, to not ask pilots to pay for safety information The URL was posted above some years ago (threads merged) but is now dead.

Edit: just seen A_A’s post above.

Thanks for these Peter. I needed to update my Pans-Ops and get volume III.

Sweden

Apparently the ICAO docs are now free from ICAO

About time!
