I have experienced a total radio failure due to an audio panel not seating properly.
I need a handheld radio and want to buy the FTA-750L
I have a trip coming up to Tokyo Japan. Does anybody have experience in buying stuff like that there?
As this radio is from Japan and as far as I understand the headquarter is in Tokyo it should be possible to find it there as a good deal.
Looking at websites and doing online translation it seems that the radio is cheaper after it is exported to UK or USA.
I was in Tokyo this summer, and I had a hard time finding such stuff, although I looked all over Akihabara, the electronics quarter of the City. The one Yaesu for flight I found was the same price or even a bit more than on ebay Germany :-)
