CleanSky is eagerly looking for more activity in the Small Air Transport segment (4-19 passengers). Cleansky provides EU technology research funding to European aerospace companies, universities, … EU is willing to pump money into this GA segment, but does not find many takers. I consider this an untapped opportunity for GA technology providers.
Clean Sky, together with the Institute of Aviation in Warsaw, are holding a Workshop on SAT (Small Air Transport) on 4th-5th of February 2016. The event will take place at the Institute of Aviation in Warsaw, Poland. The event is aimed at all European actors in Small Air Transport.
Clean Sky is the most ambitious aeronautical research programme ever launched in Europe. Its mission is to develop breakthrough technologies to significantly increase the environmental performances of airplanes and air transport, resulting in less noisy and more fuel efficient aircraft, hence bringing a key contribution in achieving the Single European Sky environmental objectives.
