It is maybe worth pointing out that this is not an “FAA map”, but from the Air Safety Institute of the US AOPA, funded by its membership dues, and which takes its data from the NTSB (which is also independent from the FAA).

From reading NTSB reports, many of the stall/spin accidents are approach/departure, and so related to land/TO.
I wonder if the “stabilised approach” doctrine leads pilots of low inertia aircraft to avoid taking necessary action at low level.
