Which is why it came to mind when I saw the sign about the “world’s busiest control tower”. But as @highflyer correctly pointed out, Neubrandenburg is actually in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and not in Brandenburg. Since I haven’t been to Neubrandenburg myself, I cannot tell if it doesn’t apply.
But in the rest of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the situation isn’t fundamentally different and young people have been moving away from there for many years now as well.
