Wow, I refer to my plane as “metal mistress” too. So I’m not alone! But the truth is my Rallye is actually a guy.
In Czech (which has genders for objects) a plane is neutral
My “Tango India” (Europa) is a lady. She’s my plastic mistress
My best friend is a “he”.
In German it is das Flugzeug (neuter) or die Maschine (feminine).
In Spanish, it is ‘la avioneta’, feminine. But wait, she’s built in Cz and on D-reg, and so she’d be neutral! So did it do a gender change when it settled in Spain?

A recurring theme in Almodóvar movies.
Mine is called “Joey” not sure if its a boy or a girl but I have this image in my head when I walk into the hangar and Joey sees me, of a little puppy going mad when you show it the lead and Joey is saying “where we going, where we going” wagging its tail like mad.
How y’a doin’ ?

Wait, it gets more complex. Actually, my new love could also be called ‘un ultraligero’, masculine. So, i have a he, she and it all in one. I lost track of all the gender types we seem to have nowadays, is there something that can be male, female and neutral at the same time?
