Your aircraft - is it "it", "he" or "she"?

Wow, I refer to my plane as “metal mistress” too. So I’m not alone! But the truth is my Rallye is actually a guy.

In Spanish, it is ‘la avioneta’, feminine. But wait, she’s built in Cz and on D-reg, and so she’d be neutral! So did it do a gender change when it settled in Spain?

Mine is called “Joey” not sure if its a boy or a girl but I have this image in my head when I walk into the hangar and Joey sees me, of a little puppy going mad when you show it the lead and Joey is saying “where we going, where we going” wagging its tail like mad.

Wait, it gets more complex. Actually, my new love could also be called ‘un ultraligero’, masculine. So, i have a he, she and it all in one. I lost track of all the gender types we seem to have nowadays, is there something that can be male, female and neutral at the same time?
