I’m undertaking a passion project to build a physical Benedix King KAP 140/KFC225 autopilot as part of a home cockpit for X-Plane and MSFS flight simulators, as this is as close to the sky I can get nowadays.
I’ve an operational prototype, and I’m now working on the casing. I want to get as close to the original as possible, but I’ve never seen one in real life! I’m looking for recommendations as to where I might be able to find unserviceable fascia / display parts / casing / buttons etc that could provide accurate measurements and give me a better appreciation of its aesthetic.
Any suggestions much appreciated.
