now available on our website http://www.mysocata.com in the Technical
Documentation section
Previously it was available only on the user group site socata.org and access was blocked to some sections of it, to certain users e.g. I could not download the wiring diagrams.
The pages are not OCRd so they are not searchable. You have to run Acrobat (full version) on them, but even then the searching is not 100% reliable due to the low resolution.
On a quick look, the latest pages are from 2004 which means the Feb 2006 CD (leaked on Ebay a few years ago, following which the seller was promptly kicked off Ebay) remains the latest one going. Also the text on that is OCRd.
Anyway, this is progress, because while the TBM manuals were open for some years, the TB ones were not.
There are still many electrical manuals which exist and which are not anywhere “open”. Basically, Socata did not release most of their GT (post year 2000) avionics wiring to ATP for publication.
